Assurant US Employee Matching Gifts Program
Assurant encourages employees to volunteer in the communities and support the organizations that matter most to our employees.
In everything we do, we remember that people count on Assurant. That’s why we encourage employees to give back to the communities where we live and work and we enhance their great efforts through the giving programs of the Assurant Foundation®. The Assurant Employee Matching Gifts Program provides all eligible U.S. Assurant employees (after 30 days of employment) the opportunity to request dollar-for-dollar matches for their personal contributions to qualifying charitable organizations. The program is administered through the Assurant Foundation and matches each gift of $25 or more, up to $1,000 per employee, annually.
A new global Assurant Cares portal for matching gifts, volunteer outreach and community events will debut in first quarter 2017.
The Assurant Matching Gifts program will be expanded to allow employees worldwide to make matching gift requests. A new link and updated guidelines will be provided to all employees in January 2017.
