Assurant strives to offer employees sufficient resources to protect what matters most to you - your physical, emotional, social and financial well-being. You can take advantage of most of these wellness programs even if you're not enrolled in the Assurant Health Plan.
Coming Soon! A new well-being program will launch in early 2017. Our new program will provide enhanced resources to help us all be at our best, and ensure we can collectively outperform. Wellness incentives will be available for you to earn at that time.

Anthem's Blue Care Consultants
Anthem connects you to a network of registered nurses, personal coaches and clinical specialists through our health and wellness partners. These dedicated support teams can help you stay fit, improve your physical or emotional health, manage an illness or navigate the health care system. Sometimes you or a family member need extra guidance to take control of your health. Anthem’s Blue Care Consultants are health support professionals who work closely with you to help you manage your condition(s) and get the best possible health outcome. Call 855.285.4212.
Anthem 24/7 NurseLine
Use the Anthem 24/7 NurseLine when you could really use some medical advice, but your doctor’s out and it’s not an emergency. A registered nurse will talk to you, answer your questions and make recommendations about what to do next. Call 800.700.9184.
Anthem Future Moms Program
Available to expectant mothers enrolled in the Assurant Health Plan, Future Moms offers an array of resources to help ensure moms-to-be receive care and support through their nine-month journey to parenthood. Click here to learn more.
Weight Watchers
Assurant has joined forces with Weight Watchers to bring you special savings on a valuable and convenient weight management program. Through the Monthly Pass Program, you get the convenience of Weight Watchers meetings in the workplace (available in certain Assurant locations) and unlimited meetings in your local community. More information is on MyHR.
Financial Wellness
Assurant believes it is important to encourage saving for retirement and the future. We offer a match of up to 6 percent for employees’ 401(k) contributions and the match is provided each pay period. Eligible employees may elect to make contributions to the 401(k) after just 30 days of employment. Employees are vested in the Company matching contributions after two years.
We provide an annual Guide to Retirement Planning as a tool to help employees think about the issues to consider when planning for retirement. Through the New Directions Employee Assistance Program, you are entitled to a 30-minute phone consultation with a licensed financial counselor at no charge. Another independent financial planning resource to check out is the National Retirement Planning Coalition: retireonyourterms.org/home.
